Important achievements in core area of activities

Development of the state of art laboratory facilities in Centre currently catering to the research needs of a PhD, postgraduate and undergraduate students resulting in significant capacity augmentation of the Centre.

Towards the mandate of the Centre, Capacity strengthening of local Institutions has been catered to through technical collaborations with institutes such as Assam Engineering College, Sipajhar College etc. Also through training organized for important stake holder departments such as State & Central pollution control Boards.

Towards the mandate of centre’s outreach, 6 national conferences have been organized in the capacity of Convener/ Organizing Secretary during the tenure between 2015- 2021 with funding support from reputed scientific and non-scientific bodies such as DST, DBT, NEC, ICMR etc.

In terms of revenue generation for the centre, 5 (Five) nos of consultancy/research projects have been carried out for both public sector and Pvt. Sector organizations. Few other upcoming projects are in pipeline.

Towards professional up gradation of self, attended 5 day DST sponsored trainings on professional capacity enhancement, RTI Act & Women Empowerment held at Hyderabad and two in New Delhi respectively. Also delivered an invited lecture in International Conference on “Advances in Energy & Environment for sustainable development”
Participated in in house training programme on "Public Procurement, E-Procurement, Govt. E-Marketplace (GeM), to be conducted by SIERD, New Delhi.
